The Inn on the Green is a privately owned Bowls Green located between Benitachell and Javea.

It is the permanent home of the Javea Bowls Club, and is also open to the general public.

The Inn on the Green offers facilities for members and non-members to play Bowls in Javea on the Costa Blanca.

The Bowls Facilities

The Inn on the Green has 9 rinks in total, and is open to non-members & visitors.

Two of the rinks are ideal for beginners & visitors (whites are not essential).

There is free coaching available and no equipment is necessary.

Visitors can use the facilities for 10 euros for 2 hours (includes cost for hiring woods & shoes).

The rinks can be floodlit for evening play if required.

Javea Bowls Club

Membership fees are 335 euros for an annual full membership.

Club mornings are on Tuesday, Friday & Sunday.

Other activities are organised throughout the week, including competitions and social functions.

The Clubhouse

There is a club house at the Inn on the Green, open to members and non-members, providing bar facilities and snacks during the day, including daily specials.

The kitchen is open from 11am-3pm Monday-Friday (& Saturdays in Winter). The food is freshly prepared and served by Jan, and is known locally for being high quality and great value for money. A daily special is offered, including Home Battered Cod, Chips and Mushy Peas for only 3.90€ on Fridays.

A Quiz Night is held every Friday evening, from 7pm, which costs 5 euros to include a homemade curry. Quiz Night is very popular with both club members and locals.

Parties & Functions

The Club house also has a separate function room which seats up to 70 people. It is the ideal location for private parties, including anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas parties etc. A set menu or buffet can be organised to suit, as well as live music.
