Playa del Portixol / Cala Barraca Javea

Playa del Portixol / Cala Barraca is one of the most popular beaches in Javea. It is a pebbly and rocky beach located between Cap Prim and Cap Negre, and is recommended for Scuba Diving & Snorkellling.

Information:

ACCESS: The beach is accessible by car via the "Cabo de la Nao" coast road. It is also accessible on foot from the viewpoint "Mirador del al Cruz del Portitxol". Parking is limited to 60 spaces.

FACILITIES: There is a bar (Cala Clemence) located on the shore, as well as the famous 'Blue Door' that has been popular on social media. Furthermore, the white and blue fishermen's houses and the island of Portitxol just off the coast are charming, must-see attractions. The beach has maritime surveillance and free WC services. You can also rent umbrellas, sunbeds, canoes and kayaks.
